I enjoyed a great coffee and a freshly made breakfast while catching up with a friend for a couple of hours. The service was both friendly and professional. I recommend this place.
This is a wonderful and charming little cafe in Old Montreal. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is just fabulous. Mouth watering pastries that are not too sweet, and delectable sandwiches and salads with some of the best coffee made our lunch memorable. Highly recommended!
So delicious! The lady who helped me was incredibly nice. I can't have milk so she walked me through which sandwiches she could remove the cheese from (the eggs for breakfast have milk in them btw but they can do it without egg). High recommend!! Wish I found this sooner during my trip. I would have come every day. Ambiance is amazing and the music is really nice and gives it an edgy modern feel
Every time I am in old Montreal, I pass by to Les moulins Lafayette, they have the best paninis in Montreal. Today I tried the baguette with prosciutto, peach and Brie, it was so creative and original , so good !! Also tried the grilled chicken panini with avocado and cucumbers and a sriracha lime mayo indeed fresh and delicious ! They always have new recipes and they never disappoint!
Simply delicious!!! I am rather glad that I don't live in Montreal because it would be too tempting not to visit here on a regular basis. Service was great! I wanted to bring home a couple of pastries and they made sure the Danishes were packaged well for travel. That was greatly appreciated!
Awesome breakfast croissants and other sweet delicious pastries. We got the “special” croissant which came stuffed with strawberries and custard, and it was topped with gold leaf which is obviously super extra but it was freaking delicious. I really enjoyed my bacon, ham, egg, and cheese croissant as well. The pistachio latte was also awesome and different (and again more gold leaf haha). The chocolate filled eclair was also great. Service was super warm and friendly.
HIDDEN GEM!!! I stumbled upon this cafe while looking for a French boulangerie and it did not disappoint! The food is absolutely amazing, I got the creme brulee, which they burned RIGHT FOR US!! Also I got a red velvet cookie with white chocolate and it was mouth watering :) The mochaccino was a piece of art really! Everything was fresh and delicious. The service is soooo FRIENDLY!! They help you with everything, anticipate your every thought. I was a bit lost on which coffee to choose and they saw it and helped me immediately, asked whether I prefer a coffee of a strong or a mild type, I never was asked that before in a cafe, the level of service my god :) The atmosphere was amazing too, not too many people like in some other cafes on the same street, not noisy and the view from the window makes you feel like you are in Europe! I wish I could live on this street and come to drink coffee in this place every day :) Definitely gonna be back and totally recommend!! This place is underrated in my opinion :)
This morning, I visited Les Moulins La Fayette in Old Montreal for the first time, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere, paired with its stunning Christmas decorations, instantly put me in a festive mood. The warm lights, garlands, and tasteful holiday touches made the bakery feel like a little slice of Christmas magic. The service was impeccable—friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The staff took the time to explain the menu and made excellent recommendations, which I truly appreciated as a first-time visitor. The ambiance was equally charming, with a relaxed, inviting vibe that made me want to linger and soak it all in. As for the food, everything I tried was divine. I ordered a cheese croissant, which was perfectly flaky on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside, with just the right amount of savory cheese. I also opted for their Vanilla Yogurt with fruits and homemade granola. The yogurt was rich and creamy, balanced beautifully with fresh, sweet fruits and the crunchy granola—a refreshing and satisfying choice. To round it all off, I had a chai latte, which was warm and fragrant with just the right blend of spices. It was the perfect companion to my meal on a crisp morning. Overall, Les Moulins La Fayette exceeded my expectations with its delicious food, warm service, and festive ambiance. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home while treating your taste buds to something special. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
